Thing 8: RSS

Okay, I explored the discovery resources, created my account with Bloglines, and subscribed to about 15 feeds and blogs. Bloglines is interesting...but I'm not sure it's something I would actually use. Just getting a list of article titles is really boring...I miss having pictures and a more exciting format. But there are positives: it certainly is a good, fast way to check multiple websites (you can just click, click, click down your list of websites). It's also really nice in that if you come across a website or blog that you like, you can just subscribe to it instead of writing down the URL and trying to remember to check it out again sometime (which is my current method).
